I've been using this site to experiment with what a blog can be. And what I've found to be most interesting is interactivity — anything where readers can reach out to connect with me, like the T-shirt maker from a couple posts ago. It's really fun and gratifying to get a message from someone who is reading my stuff.

The only problem is that since everything I get is anonymous, I haven't had any way to respond! I've tried to update each page to reflect what I'm seeing and hearing from people, but it's not the same as being able to write back directly.

So I'm trying a new experiment here. Below, you can ask me anything. Here's how it works:

• Ask a question at the bottom of the box below.
• I'll get an email with your question, and then I'll update this page to add the question and my response.
• From there, you or others can add further replies.
• The whole thread will be visible for anyone to browse.
